Mobility Matters Buyers Protection Guide

Mobility Matters Buyers Protection Guide

The Buyers’ Protection Guide explains in plain English just why people may find a wide range of prices for what are basically the same products and why both paying too little can sometimes be as bad as paying far too much. The guide unveils some of the "tricks of the trade" unscrupulous salespeople may use to pressure customers into signing for a product that might not be totally right for them and also warns against being tempted by a deal that could result in problems in the future.

Mobility dealers that are members of The Mobility Matters Network are "honest and ethical companies". All have showrooms where the products are on display and, crucially, all provide long-term service back up for the products they sell. Mobility Matters has produced the guide as it says it’s members are fed up being tarred with the same brush when it comes to companies and individuals who may not have the best interests of the customer at heart.

An example of one of the pieces of advice in the guide is to never deal with a company that is unwilling to give you a guide price for a product over the telephone. It points out that if a company is unwilling to give this simple information over the phone, then it might have something to hide and that the price might turn out to be considerably more than the customer could find elsewhere.
